Photo Guide: Harpoon Brewery Tour – Boston
I have been meaning to post this post for a long time! I live in Boston but ironically I haven’t had much of a chance to post about fun travel things to do in my home city AT ALL on this blog. So here’s to the start of the official ‘Boston’ section of http://www.katielofblad.com.
At the end of June Lewis and I, accompanied by one of my best friends, Mackenzie, were invited by Harpoon Brewery to tour their HQ located in Boston, MA.
Boston is beautiful AF, especially in the summer:

Harpoon Brewery is located in Boston’s Seaport but we decided to take advantage of the lovely weather and wander through the city’s Public Gardens.

If you find yourself a tourist in Boston, you have to do the swan boats.

If you follow me on Instagram you may remember my friend Mackenzie from when we met up in Venice in June! She lives in Boston now too so one perk of being back home is being able to have friends nearby again!

After our little photoshoot we made it to Harpoon for the tour!
Harpoon Brewery runs tours 7 days a week. Monday through Friday, tours start on the hour. On Saturday, tours run every 20 minutes and on Sundays, they run every 30 minutes. Tours cost a low $5 and include a LOT of samples.
You do have to wear dorky safety glasses though…

Harpoon not only makes some delicious beer, but also has an awesome company atmosphere. You learn all about how the beer is brewed, the company history, and how it’s distributed.

Undoubtedly the best part? Your 15 mins of fun in the tasting room! Everyone on the tour gets a small glass as a souvenir and you get 15 minutes in this room to have unlimited tastings of all the beers and ciders they have on tap!

Once you figure out which ones you like the best head down to the Brewery’s on site bar and you can order a growler or another tasting flight.
BUT, DO NOT MISS THE PRETZELS THERE. OMG I am NOT exaggerating when I say these may be some of the best things I have EVER tasted.

We had an original, a cinnamon, and a parmesan and you honestly have to try them all because each of them were AMAZING.
Harpoon Brewery is constantly hosting really fun and different eventshttps://swanboats.com. On this particular night they were having a Yoga and Brew party where they had 100s of people outside practicing yoga before they were invited inside for a private event. So fun!
We had an awesome evening at Harpoon and would absolutely recommend stopping by for a tour on your next trip to Boston!
