London’s ArcelorMittal Orbit Slide
Lewis and I had the chance to experience the ArcelorMittal Orbit slide at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park while we were in London. Just when you think you’ve done it all in London they pop out with something totally wild like this!

The ArcelorMittal Orbit is Britain’s largest sculpture offering spectacular 20-mile views over Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the London skyline.
If you dare, descend the world’s highest and, at 178m, the world’s longest tunnel slide. It only takes 40 seconds to get down so keep your eyes peeled for the views!
Here’s a little model of what the building looks like…

And here’s an aerial view of the slide. Look at all those twists and turns! Not for the squeamish.

The views from the viewing area.

A little mirror selfie from these funky mirrors in the viewing area.

The slide was crazy. You really feel like you’re flying! To be honest my stomach was a little flopsy feeling afterward but definitely a cool experience!!
The Olypmic Park is worth checking out as well. They’re building up so much over there at the moment that part of London is going to be absolutely booming in a few years.
Have you tried the slide? What did you think! Leave me a comment below 🙂
Thank you to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for inviting me to experience the ArcelorMittal Orbit slide! As always, my opinions are my own!
